About The Position

A Radiology Tech performs medical imaging, ensures patient safety, and assists doctors in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. The position performs diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and applicable regulatory requirements, serves as a first-line interface with customers, and supports image processing and transmission to PACS. Requirements

State licensure and fluoroscopy permit, as required by the state.
ARRT-R certification.
Familiarity with state and federal regulations.
Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
Proficient computer skills.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and applicable HFAP, TJC, local, CMS, state, and federal regulations.
Serve as the first-line interface with customers and meet their imaging needs.
Participate in performance improvement and quality control activities.
Process and transmit images to PACS.
