About The Position

Performs radiographic procedures in accordance with departmental policy and provides technical examinations requiring independent judgment in applying ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnoses. The role is responsible for on-call procedures when indicated and must be able to perform surgery cases and pain management procedures.

The Radiology Tech produces diagnostic radiographs and rotates through advanced diagnostic radiology areas, including the operating room, urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma. The position also assists practitioners with fluoroscopy, arthrography, operating room procedures, and trauma.

Requirements

• Complete a JRCERT-approved formal program in Radiologic Technology.
• Hold current American Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and Certified Radiology Tech (CRT) certifications.
• Hold CPR certification.
• Have good verbal communication skills to understand oral and written instructions stated in radiological and medical terms and to exchange information with patients and staff.

• Minimum of six months of clinical experience.
