About The Position
The Radiology Tech works in the Imaging department at St. Mary Hospital in Kankakee, Illinois. The role performs diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and applicable HFAP, TJC, local, state, and federal regulations. The technologist serves as a first-line interface with customers, helps meet their imaging needs, participates in performance improvement and quality control activities, and processes and transmits images to PACS.
Requirements
- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by the state.
- ARRT-R certification is required.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations.
- Current BCLS (AHA).
- Proficient computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred.
Responsibilities
