About The Position

The Radiology Tech performs diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with department protocols and applicable HFAP, TJC, local, state, and federal regulations. The role serves as a first-line interface with customers and works to meet their imaging needs. The technologist participates in PI/QC activities and is responsible for processing and transmitting images to PACS. This is a full-time evening-shift position at Prime Healthcare–Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois, with a listed schedule of 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates; eligibility and payout terms apply and are discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

• Hold the licensure and fluoroscopy permit required by the state.
• ARRT-R certification is required.
• Be familiar with state and federal regulations.
• Hold current BCLS (AHA) certification.
• Have proficient computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred.
