About The Position

Staff Radiologic Technologists perform diagnostic procedures at a technical level as outlined in the Department Policy and Procedure Manuals. They also provide related patient services and perform clerical duties. The role is under the general supervision of the Radiology Supervisor/Director of Imaging Services and the clinical direction of the Radiology Medical Director. The position is at the Outpatient Immediate Care Center in Munster and is full-time. Orthopedic experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT); registry-eligible applicants are acceptable but must pass the test within one year of graduation.
• Current Indiana State Department of Health license to operate ionizing radiation equipment.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to care for neonates, infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families.
• Maintain CPR certification.
• Complete continuing education credits as required by the ARRT.
