About The Position
The Radiology Tech works in the Imaging/Radiology Department at Prime Healthcare- Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois. The role performs diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and applicable HFAP, TJC, local, state, and federal regulations, including CMS requirements. The technologist serves as a first-line interface with customers to meet their imaging needs, participates in performance improvement and quality control activities, and processes and transmits images to PACS. This is a per-diem position requiring at least four shifts in a four-week period, with a variable shift. The stated compensation estimate is $36 to $42; the exact starting compensation depends on factors including skills, applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
Requirements
- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by the state.
- ARRT-R certification is required.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations.
- Current BCLS (AHA).
- Proficient computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred.
