About The Position

Under minimal supervision, the Radiology Tech performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures requested by a licensed physician. The role applies professional judgment and x-ray energy to support the diagnosis or treatment of patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. The employee completes the position’s established competencies within the designated introductory period and performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program.
• ARRT or registry eligible; must obtain ARRT within one year post-graduation.
• AHA BLS certification.
• State license, if required.

• Associate degree.
• 1–3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Produces high-quality diagnostic radiographs.
• Rotates through advanced diagnostic radiology areas, including the OR, urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma.
• Assists practitioners with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures, and trauma.
