About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Radiology Tech specializing in CT imaging in Cumming, GA. The role is in a high-volume, 24-hour imaging environment with multiple scanners and a broad scope of procedures. The assignment is for 13 weeks, starting on 08/31/2026, with a shift of 12-hour nights on a 2x3 schedule. The position involves performing CT imaging studies on adult patients, operating Siemens CT scanners, administering contrast, supporting CT-guided procedures, collaborating with radiologists, and maintaining patient safety and documentation.

Requirements

ARRT certification in radiography
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of CT imaging experience within the CT specialty
Ability to work a 12-hour night shift in a 24-hour department
Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a high-volume imaging environment
Located in Cumming, GA, US

Responsibilities

Perform CT imaging studies across adult patients, ensuring high-quality images and strict adherence to safety protocols.
Operate three Siemens CT scanners (Edge Plus, Definition AS, and Force), applying appropriate protocols and post-processing techniques.
Prepare and administer contrast using the Bayer Medrad Contrast Injector per orders; monitor patients for adverse reactions and manage contrast safety.
Support a range of CT-guided procedures and interventional protocols (e.g., angiography, biopsies, abscess drains, and other CT-assisted interventions) per department guidelines.
Collaborate with radiologists and the larger care team to optimize workflow in a 24-hour department handling both inpatients and outpatients; maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
Maintain patient safety, infection control, and SBAR communication; assist with holiday coverage as required.
