About The Position

Radiology Tech – CT Tech needed for a travel assignment in Cumming, GA, United States. This CT-focused role will operate in an outpatient imaging setting offering CT, radiography, ultrasound, and MRI services. The assignment is for 13 weeks with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. The shift is 12-hour days, 3 days per week. This assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of CT imaging experience, preferably in outpatient imaging settings
ARRT CT certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience with Cerner outpatient imaging systems or similar radiology information systems
Ability to work a 12-hour day shift on a 3-day-per-week schedule
Willingness to work holiday coverage as required (two major holidays and one minor holiday per assignment)

Responsibilities

Perform CT imaging exams for outpatient patients following department protocols, ensuring correct positioning, image quality, and patient safety.
Operate CT scanner and related equipment; adhere to QA/QC procedures and radiation safety standards.
Review orders in the Cerner outpatient imaging system; verify patient information, prepare exams, and document procedures accurately.
Cooperate with radiologists and the health care team to deliver timely exams and high-quality diagnostic images; adjust protocols as directed.
Manage patient comfort and safety during procedures, including screening for contraindications to contrast when applicable.
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and transfer of images to PACS and the patient chart as part of standard workflow.
