About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Radiology Tech specializing in CT (Computed Tomography) in Los Angeles, CA. The role is within a home healthcare - hospice setting and is a 13-week contract. Requirements

California Radiologic Technologist licensure (RT) in the state of practice and ARRT certification: RT(R)(CT) or RT(R) required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required.
Fluoroscopy license in California: Required if fluoroscopy is performed.
Venipuncture certification: Required in CA if venipuncture is performed to administer contrast.
Minimum two years of recent radiologic/CT experience.

Nice To Haves

Advanced CT certification: Preferred in CA.
Associate degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred.

Responsibilities

Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images used for diagnosis.
Performs imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed.
Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the radiologist and clinical team, ensuring patient privacy and data integrity.
Maintains accurate records, files and billing information in accordance with HIPAA and related regulations.
Conducts routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment and manages supply inventory.
Delivers age-appropriate patient care across adolescence through geriatric patients and adheres to safety and quality standards.
