About The Position

Radiology Tech with CT specialization is needed for a travel assignment in The Dalles, Oregon. Start date is September 21, 2026 for a 16-week engagement in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. The position offers 36 guaranteed hours per week with a 3x12-hour day shift. Compensation ranges from $2,492 to $2,621 per week. This assignment involves CT imaging as well as related radiology procedures and requires EPIC experience.

Requirements

ARRT-CT certification: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) required
Advanced CT certification: Required (in OR and HI; preferred in CA)
Licenses/Certifications: ARRT-CT required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
EPIC experience required
Minimum of two years of recent radiology experience
Current nursing license per the state of assignment

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
Venipuncture certification: Preferred
Fluoroscopy license: Preferred in the state of employment

Responsibilities

Operate CT equipment to acquire cross-sectional images of patients for radiologist interpretation.
Perform CT procedures and, as needed, general radiography and fluoroscopy.
Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for accurate interpretation.
Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the appropriate location; maintain image integrity and patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
Maintain accurate records, files and billing information; assist with routine equipment maintenance and calibration.
Manage supply inventory and support ongoing department operations; collaborate with the radiology team to deliver patient-centered care.
