About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a CT Technologist (CT Tech) in Clifton Springs, NY, to work in a hospital setting. The assignment requires a blocked weekend schedule with coverage on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. EPIC charting experience is a mandatory requirement for this position. First-time travelers are accepted, and locals may be considered based on account manager guidance.

Requirements

ARRT (R)(CT) certification and BLS required
EPIC charting experience required (hard requirement)
New York state license: NY license in hand prior to start; submit-ready status allowed with license in-hand before start
Minimum CT imaging experience: 1–2 years (final minimum to be confirmed with account manager)

Responsibilities

Perform a range of CT imaging studies including head, sinuses, neck, chest (including CTA), abdomen, and pelvis; utilize 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstructions; operate PACS
Prepare and administer intravenous contrast; monitor patients for adverse reactions; maintain radiation safety and dose optimization
Obtain and manage peripheral IV access; assist with trauma imaging as needed
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in the EMR (EPIC); ensure correct patient data and study completion
Collaborate with radiologists and radiology team to prioritize and complete exams efficiently; adhere to safety, infection control, and quality standards
Float to related imaging areas as required by the schedule; participate in weekend coverage and block scheduling as defined
