Responsibilities

Perform CT imaging procedures according to established protocols, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety
Prepare patients, verify orders, obtain consent, and explain procedures to reduce anxiety
Position patients and select scanning parameters; adjust technique for patient size and clinical indication
Administer IV contrast per protocol when required and monitor for adverse reactions
Operate CT equipment, review images for adequacy, and document findings and patient information in the system
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to deliver timely imaging services and maintain patient flow
Adhere to radiation safety guidelines, optimize exposure, and maintain infection control standards
