About The Position
This is a travel assignment for a Radiology Tech – CT Tech in Fort Bragg, CA, beginning 08/31/2026 and lasting for 13 weeks at a critical access facility. The role offers guaranteed 40 hours per week with a shift of 4x10-hour days. Healthforce Healthcare LLC is the staffing agency connecting professionals with this opportunity.
Requirements
- At least two years of recent field experience.
- CT/X-ray imaging experience 3–5 years.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current nursing license per the state of assignment.
- EPIC experience required.
- IV certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging exams according to physician orders, selecting appropriate protocols and windowing.
- Position patients, immobilize as needed, and operate the CT scanner to acquire diagnostic-quality images.
- Administer iodinated contrast agents per protocol; monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Monitor patient safety, radiation safety practices, and adherence to ALARA principles; maintain sterile technique as required.
- Prepare and verify images in the electronic health record (Epic) and ensure accurate documentation of procedures and findings.
- Collaborate with radiology teammates and physicians to ensure timely, high-quality imaging and appropriate patient care.
