About The Position

This travel assignment is in a hospital radiology department starting 08/31/2026 for 16 weeks. The position requires ARRT CT certification, teaching facility experience, a minimum of 2 years CT experience, and Epic experience within the past two years. Requirements

  • ARRT CT certification (active) and ARRT CT verification as part of credentialing
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Minimum 2 years CT imaging experience
  • Teaching facility experience required
  • Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
  • Ability to work evenings and comply with a 4x10-hour shift schedule
  • Reliable clinical history documentation and ability to explain procedures to patients

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic CT scans following established protocols, ensuring image quality and patient safety.
  • Position patients and adjust scanner parameters, select protocols, and manage contrast administration as per policy.
  • Establish and maintain IV access when required, monitor for adverse reactions, and document procedures in the EMR.
  • Adhere to radiation safety principles, perform routine equipment QC checks, and ensure clean, sterile technique.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to fulfill exam requests and communicate results promptly in Epic.
  • Provide patient care that supports comfort and safety during imaging procedures; respond to patient needs and emergencies as they arise.
