About The Position

This is a travel Radiology Tech - CT travel assignment in Lawrenceville, GA. The assignment is for 13 weeks with a start date of 08/31/2026. The role involves working in an acute-care environment with Level 2 trauma center capabilities, performing a broad mix of trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, procedural, and routine CT exams for patients across all ages. The position requires working nights, 4 nights per week, and holiday coverage is expected.

Requirements

Active ARRT CT certification
AHA BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience
Ability to work nights (9:00 pm–7:30 am) in a high-volume, trauma-focused setting
Must be able to work in an acute-care, Level 2 trauma center environment
No local candidates within 50 miles

Responsibilities

Operate CT scanners to acquire diagnostic images across all age groups, ensuring high image quality and patient safety.
Position patients, select appropriate scanning protocols, adjust technical factors, and monitor contrast administration as needed.
Verify patient identity and orders, document examinations accurately, and maintain proper labeling of studies.
Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to meet exam requirements and maintain efficient patient throughput.
Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and HIPAA privacy standards in all procedures.
Perform basic quality control and equipment checks; report any issues to ensure imaging continuity and safety.
