Responsibilities

Administer ionizing irradiation to patients in accordance with prescriptions and instructions from department physicians.
Position patients and verify treatment parameters to ensure accurate delivery of therapy.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols, verify patient identity, and monitor for safety throughout treatment.
Document treatment delivered, monitor patient response, and communicate with the radiation oncology team regarding plan adherence or adjustments.
Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and support staff to optimize patient care and workflow.
Report equipment concerns and participate in ongoing quality and safety checks as directed.
