About The Position

Radiation Therapist needed for a travel assignment in Saint Helena, California. This Radiation Therapy Tech role focuses on delivering precise radiation treatments as part of a short-term acute care setting. The assignment starts on 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,693 to $2,920 per week, with guaranteed 40 hours. The shift is day shift, 5x8 days (Mon–Fri). This is a travel - temporary assignment in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. No on-call required.

Requirements

ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (or eligible)
California license (appropriate state-specific licensure)
Current BLS certification
At least two years of recent experience in the field
Experience with EPIC, ARIA/VARIAN, and machine type 21ix
No on-call requirements; ability to work in a hospital setting

Responsibilities

Deliver radiation therapy per the physician’s treatment plan, ensuring correct dose, positioning, and immobilization.
Verify patient identity and treatment parameters; perform treatment setup and image-guided alignment as needed.
Operate linear accelerator equipment (e.g., machine type 21ix) and related systems; monitor patients during each treatment.
Use EPIC for charting and ARIA/VARIAN for planning, verification, and record-keeping; maintain accurate documentation.
Adhere to safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards; collaborate with the radiation oncology team to optimize patient care.
Communicate any equipment issues or treatment concerns promptly; participate in ongoing performance improvement activities.
