About The Position

The Quality Technician I/II/III facilitates the parts quality process throughout the organization. In partnership with internal business units, the role ensures the precision and inspection of parts moving into the facility, supports Quality Management Systems, and drives data collection, reporting, and analysis. The technician partners with leaders in daily operations to improve quality systems, processes, and performance. The schedule is Saturday through Monday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pay is $20.60 per hour plus a $3 shift premium.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Responsibilities

• Conduct process and product audits to verify team members follow standardized operating procedures and quality standards.
• Implement resolutions to basic and moderately complex problems, selecting methods and techniques within established procedures and practices.
• Implement process improvements to continuously improve quality.
• Cross-train in multiple departments or stations and flex to similar departments based on business needs.
• Assist with NPI/ECN changes and other duties assigned by the Quality Supervisor or Manager.
• Suggest and implement improvements to equipment, designs, or processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisors depending on the level and complexity.
