About The Position

The Quality Technician I/II/III facilitates the parts quality process throughout the organization. In partnership with internal business units, the role ensures the precision and inspection of parts moving into the facility and supports Quality Management Systems through data collection, reporting, and analysis. The technician partners with operational leaders to improve quality systems, processes, and performance.

The position is scheduled from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday through Monday. Pay is $20.60 per hour, plus a $3 shift premium.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Responsibilities

• Conduct process and product audits to ensure team members follow standardized operating procedures and quality standards.
• Implement resolutions to basic and moderately complex problems.
• Use judgment within established procedures and practices to select methods and techniques for solutions.
• Implement process improvements to continuously improve quality.
• Cross-train in multiple departments or stations and flex to similar departments based on business needs.
• Assist with NPI/ECN changes and perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Supervisor or Manager.
• Suggest and implement improvements to existing equipment, designs, or processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisors, depending on the problem's level and complexity.
