Quality Engineer 1
About The Position
The Quality Engineer will learn and apply foundational quality practices in inspection and documentation, assist with data entry and reporting for test results and audits, develop core skills, and contribute to timely delivery. The role is part of Dell Technologies’ Quality Engineering team, which develops, implements, and maintains technical quality assurance and control systems; improves inspection, verification, and validation of finished products; defines quality standards and methodologies; participates in engineering design reviews; and helps customers or engineers gather and analyze data.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of related experience.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic knowledge of quality concepts and tools.
- Basic knowledge of ISO standards, preferably ISO 9000 or 9k.
- Proficiency with MS Office or BI tools for reporting.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering or a related field.
- Exposure to SPC or audit processes with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) management systems.
Responsibilities
- Support routine inspections and test data entry.
- Maintain documentation and evidence packs in accordance with SOPs.
- Prepare basic reports and visuals for the team.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet deadlines.
