Quality Engineer 1
About The Position
The Quality Engineer 1 supports Dell Technologies’ Quality Engineering team by learning and applying foundational quality practices in inspection and documentation. The role assists with data entry and reporting for test results and audits, develops core quality skills, and contributes to timely delivery. The team develops, implements, and maintains technical quality assurance and control systems; improves inspection, verification, and validation of finished products; defines strategies and governance for quality standards and methodology; participates in engineering design reviews; and assists customers or engineers with gathering and analyzing data.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of related experience.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic knowledge of quality concepts and tools.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office or BI tools for reporting.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering or a related field.
- Exposure to SPC or audit processes.
Responsibilities
- Support routine inspections and test data entry.
- Maintain documentation and evidence packs according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare basic reports and visuals for the team.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet deadlines.
