About The Position

The Project Engineer supports the successful delivery of construction projects, working independently with knowledge of project activities. The role collaborates with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to help ensure project requirements, schedules, and quality standards are met. It contributes to efficient project execution by monitoring progress, identifying routine and non-routine issues, and recommending solutions. The Project Engineer also shares general project knowledge and participates in continuous improvement involving moderately complex tasks and processes.

The position includes reviewing construction documents, coordinating with project teams, monitoring schedules and budgets, supporting quality and safety protocols, maintaining project records, and communicating project updates. Regular field presence supports safe work execution, including participation in safety meetings and high-risk activity planning and controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0–4 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or a related field.
• Complete the OSHA 30 program within 6 months of hire.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and not require current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification.

Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and compliance with project goals.
• Maintain regular field presence to support safe work execution, including attending safety meetings such as stretch and flex and engaging in high-risk activity planning and controls.
• Coordinate with project managers and project teams to address standard technical questions and resolve general project issues.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets, track labor productivity, and report variances to support timely corrective actions.
• Support implementation of quality assurance and safety protocols throughout project phases.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports and technical records.
• Identify opportunities for incremental improvements and contribute to developing leading practices with guidance.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate updates to team members and stakeholders.
