The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for validating the quality of web, mobile, and desktop applications. This role involves collaborating closely with agile development teams to design and execute scripted tests, ensuring the release of high-quality products. • Basic ability to understand the software development life cycles and testing methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree with a preference for majors in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Mathematics, or fields related to accounting, or 4+ years’ experience with quality assurance (QA) testing or working with transportation management systems (TMS)
• Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in test plan management software and spreadsheet applications
• Experience in testing web services and Application Programming Interfaces (API)
• Familiarity with executing and understanding relational database queries using SQL

Nice To Haves

• Experience in software customer support and extensive experience with testing complex web-based software, including mobile applications across various platforms and browsers

Responsibilities

• Execute test cases accurately and document test results comprehensively.
• Identify, log, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.
• Adhere to established Quality Assurance (QA) processes and standards.
• Conduct functional, regression, and system testing to ensure software quality.
• Collaborate in the development of test plans and the creation of test cases.
• Ability to use AI tools to support Quality Assurance activities.
