About The Position

The primary duties and responsibilities of the QA Analyst consist of, but are not limited to, the following: Conduct thorough walk-throughs of production and quality department to assess the overall status of plant quality. Provide the Quality Manager with information concerning accuracy and completeness of quality control documents. Assist the Quality Manager with the Quality Department document filing and retention programs. Oversee the Product “Hold” area documenting applicable information and with the assistance of Production, ensuring product is promptly sorted / reworked. Assist the Quality Manager in managing the overall plant resin program. Monitor plant quality processes to confirm they are being handled promptly and properly. Notify the Quality Manager of any deviations and assist with corrective actions. Conduct capability studies as required and identify capability deficiencies. Customer samples - Evaluate attributes / test performance / confirm dimensions of sample parts. Conduct Mold Concentricity inspections and documentation. Complete all “Certificates of Analysis” as required. Assist the Quality Manager in identifying quality deficiency trends and in finding solutions to improve plant quality standards. Assist with incoming inspections and dock audits as necessary. Compile and report data on quality scrap to the Quality and Production Manager. Assist the Quality Manager with the processing of any required Deviation Requests. Assist the Quality Manager in compliance and audits with the ISO program. Able to perform all functions of the Quality Assurance Technician. Verify and update all Cpro documents to current template. Address and fix any grammatical errors in ALL Cpro documents. Verify and update quality HOLD log on a weekly basis to ensure product on HOLD is identified.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Previous work history in manufacturing and/or quality assurance environment
  • Must be able to frequently lift, bend, and reach to perform necessary job functions
  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to operator a pallet jack safety.
  • Excellent mathematics, computer, problem-solving, communication and organizational skills, and detail oriented.
  • Skilled in the use of measuring devices, such as height gauges and calipers
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager to support and meet organizational goals.
