About The Position

Carvana is hiring an entry-level Quality Associate for its Post Production operations at the Belton, Missouri inspection center. Carvana’s vehicle reconditioning centers inspect, perfect, and photograph vehicles before they are listed on the Carvana website. The posting describes several entry-level automotive roles, including detailing vehicles, moving vehicles between departments, photographing vehicles, and inspecting vehicle interiors and exteriors to identify imperfections or defects. Starting pay is $16 per hour. The location offers a first shift from Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., and a second shift from Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. The work takes place in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve exposure to heat or cold. Carvana provides entry-level training programs to help employees develop their skills and progress in pay.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver's license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Must be able to operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Must use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments or equipment.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.

Responsibilities

Depending on the assigned entry-level role, detail vehicles by washing, cleaning interiors, and buffing exteriors.
Move vehicles from one department to another within the Inspection Center.
Photograph vehicles for customer-facing vehicle displays.
Inspect vehicle interiors and exteriors and accurately identify imperfections or defects.
