About The Position

Carvana is hiring for an entry-level Quality Associate, Post Production role at its inspection center in Concord, North Carolina. The job posting describes entry-level automotive work at Carvana’s vehicle inspection centers, where vehicles are inspected, perfected, and photographed before being listed on the Carvana website. Entry-level associates receive training programs intended to help their skills and pay progress. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour. Two schedules are offered at this location: first shift, Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and second shift, Monday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 4 a.m. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. The position uses tools in a high-tech inspection center and may involve exposure to hot or cold weather. Employment is contingent on passing a background check, and visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Be able to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Be able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Pass a complete background check.
Be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Perform post-production quality work on vehicles at a Carvana inspection center.
Work in a production environment to help deliver vehicles to customers as expected.
