About The Position

Carvana is hiring for entry-level automotive roles at its West Memphis Inspection Center. Available positions include Detailer, Lot Attendant, Photobooth Associate, and Inspection Associate. Work involves preparing vehicles through washing, interior cleaning, and exterior buffing; moving vehicles between departments; photographing vehicles; or inspecting vehicle interiors and exteriors to identify imperfections and defects. Training programs are available to help entry-level employees develop their skills and progress in pay. The position pays $16.00–$17.00 per hour, based on experience, and is located at 1100 Family Dollar, West Memphis, AR 72301. Two shifts are offered: Monday–Friday, 6 a.m.–3 p.m., or Monday–Thursday, 4 p.m.–3 a.m. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Must be able to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes while exposed to excessive heat or cold.
• Must use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.
• Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Depending on the selected role, detail vehicles by washing, cleaning interiors, and buffing exteriors.
• Move vehicles from one department to another in the Inspection Center.
• Photograph vehicles for customers to view online.
• Inspect vehicle interiors and exteriors and accurately identify imperfections or defects.
• Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
