About The Position

The QSR Food Rep supports food merchandising, food preparation and service, customer satisfaction, facility upkeep, and administrative operations at the store. The role ensures grocery deliveries are accurate, merchandise is stocked, attractively displayed and correctly priced, and food items are rotated and monitored for quality and freshness. The position also prepares and serves food and beverages, maintains food preparation areas and display cases, and helps keep the store clean, safe, and in proper working order. The representative provides courteous customer service, addresses routine customer concerns, supports training new associates when necessary, and helps maintain inventory. The role works with minimal direction and periodic supervision, follows company policies and procedures, and may be asked to perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager. The listed hiring range is $11.00 to $12.00.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to work as scheduled and arrive at work on time.
Ability to communicate information and ideas so others understand.
Ability to perform the essential duties and physical functions of the job.
Ability to work in the described conditions, including occasional exposure to temperature extremes and noise.
Ability to lift or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead occasionally.
Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds from ground to waist occasionally.
Ability to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands for the entire shift, requiring eye-hand coordination.
Ability to push or pull with the arms using up to 20 pounds of force.
Ability to reach overhead, bend and twist at the waist, stoop, kneel, squat, push, and pull.
Ability to communicate orally and operate a cash register and/or computer keyboard.
Ability to work alone.
Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift.
May need to climb a ladder to store or retrieve materials or place or remove signs.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Retail sales experience preferred.
Ability to perform the four basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure grocery deliveries are accurate, stocked, attractively displayed, and priced correctly in accordance with company guidelines.
Complete build-to’s for ordering or purchasing merchandise.
Check in deliveries, price and stock merchandise according to schematic, and maintain inventory.
Validate deliveries against invoices, review discrepancies with the Store Manager, and bring outdated merchandise to the Store Manager for verification.
Assemble, date, and price-mark in-store displays.
Rotate food items and monitor quality and freshness to protect customers from illness.
Monitor and organize inventory to reduce out-of-stock items.
Maintain food preparation areas and display cases to attract and retain customers.
Prepare and serve quality food and beverages to satisfy customer needs.
Assist with training new associates when necessary, emphasizing excellent customer service.
Greet customers, provide prompt and courteous service, thank customers as they leave, and resolve or help resolve routine concerns within established guidelines.
Report to work on time and follow the dress and appearance code.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
Sweep and mop floors; dust or wash windows, counters, displays, store areas, and bathrooms; and remove trash, litter, and debris.
Inspect store facilities and equipment for safety, cleanliness, and proper working order.
Clean, sanitize, and maintain food service equipment.
Attend job-related meetings, which may require irregular hours.
Foster cooperative intradepartmental workflow and contribute to team efforts.
Comply with company policies and procedures and perform duties with minimal supervision.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
