About The Position

Jaybird Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented QMAP to join its senior living community. The role provides prescribed medications and treatments, supports resident care, and helps maintain a safe, comfortable, clean, and welcoming environment. The QMAP documents medication administration, monitors resident condition, and communicates changes to healthcare staff. The position also assists residents with daily living activities and collaborates with the Healthcare Coordinator (HCC) on staff training, documentation, and incident reporting.

Requirements

Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in good standing.
At least 6 months of caregiving experience, preferably with seniors.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and supporting resident mobility.
Commitment to confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and resident well-being.

Responsibilities

Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
Document medications, monitor residents’ conditions, and report changes to healthcare staff.
Assist with vital signs, lab collections, and follow-up communications with families and providers.
Support residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
Partner with the Healthcare Coordinator (HCC) in staff training, documentation, and incident reporting.
Respond promptly to resident and visitor needs with professionalism and compassion.
