About The Position

Jaybird Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented QMAP to join its senior living community. The role provides prescribed medications and treatments, supports resident care, and helps maintain a safe, comfortable environment. Responsibilities include documenting medications, monitoring residents’ conditions, communicating changes to healthcare staff, and assisting with vital signs, lab collections, and follow-up communications with families and providers. The QMAP also supports residents with daily living activities and partners with the Healthcare Coordinator in staff training, documentation, and incident reporting.

The position requires a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in good standing and at least six months of caregiving experience, preferably with seniors. Candidates should have strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, be able to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50 pounds and supporting resident mobility, and uphold confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and resident well-being.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
• Document medications, monitor resident condition, and report changes to healthcare staff.
• Assist with vital signs, lab collections, and follow-up communications with families and providers.
• Support residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
• Partner with the Healthcare Coordinator (HCC) in staff training, documentation, and incident reporting.
• Respond promptly to resident and visitor needs with professionalism and compassion.
