About The Position

Care aides are a key part of the Juniper team, providing physical support to help residents stay engaged, safe, and independent in a senior living setting. This part-time position is available Sunday, Monday, and Friday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Associates assist with medication administration and documentation, support residents with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs as instructed, and communicate with residents, families, and team members. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour. Juniper offers Daily Pay, allowing associates to access pay on demand.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medication Tech Certification/QMAP.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, securing transportation, making and keeping appointments, using the telephone, dining, and attending Juniper programs.
• Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
• Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and families.
• Provide excellent customer service.
