About The Position

Job Summary: The QHSE Inspector will implement policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. This position will also conduct Quality Control tests. We’re looking for a highly organized, methodical professional with the experience necessary to take our products to the next level in terms of safety, security, and accuracy. A proven track record of experience is essential. Job Functions: Quality Control: Will Conduct Quality Control Checks throughout the manufacturing process inspecting, testing, or measuring materials or products being produced. Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work; confirming re-work Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications. Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products. Report inspection and test data. Create an effective/efficient testing protocol to be used across all product lines Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Investigate (and correct) issues and complaints relating to quality. Inspect and test activities to ensure high productivity and high technical integrity. Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and to establish quality and reliability expectancy of finished products. Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives. Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs. Create, document and implement inspection criteria and procedures. Maintain active role on internal continuous improvement teams. Design, develop and implement quality control training programs. Safety: Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks. Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections. Develops health and safety procedures for all areas of the company. Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics. Ensures that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed. Maintains records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.
