About The Position

Kodland is a digital platform that connects tutors with children and young people around the world. We are looking for Python Tutors to join our fast-growing team. The position involves delivering fun and engaging online lessons based on a provided curriculum and materials to children aged 10 to 14. This includes both individual and group sessions (9-12 students). The role also involves improving teaching skills under the guidance of experienced mentors, sharing feedback on lessons and materials, providing regular reports on student progress, enhancing the learning experience, and being a positive figure at Kodland. Creative ideas to support students are encouraged.

Requirements

Python programming skills at at least an intermediate level.
Willingness to acquire new skills and improve those you already have.
Readiness to teach children and help them achieve high results.
Availability to work on weekends and/or on weekdays and in the evenings.
Ability to work independently.
No criminal record and no prohibition on working with children.
Own laptop with a camera and microphone.
Stable internet connection.
Quiet place to work.

Nice To Haves

No teaching experience is required, however we will invite you to an interview, and upon your request you will need to complete a digital skills test.
Candidates have the opportunity to learn Scratch and Roblox with us.

Responsibilities
