About The Position
Kodland is a digital platform connecting tutors and children aged 5 to 17, teaching game development (Unity/Roblox), programming (Scratch/Python), web development (Javascript, HTML, CSS), digital design (Blender/Photoshop), and Minecraft. Kodland's goal is to prepare children for the future. We help them acquire skills that set them up to succeed in their careers and develop their interests. Kodland operates in 40 countries and educates over 30,000 students. The online tutor will be responsible for preparing and conducting online programming lessons in Scratch, providing support and feedback, and adapting teaching to the individual styles and needs of students.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Scratch and experience in carrying out programming projects in this language
- Excellent communication and teaching skills
- Experience working with children and young people
- Ability to adapt teaching to the individual needs of students
- Own laptop with a camera and microphone
- Stable internet connection
- Quiet place to work
Nice To Haves
- Experience in online teaching or tutoring is preferred
- A relevant degree (Computer Science, Education, or similar) will be considered an additional advantage
- Candidates have the opportunity to learn Scratch and Roblox with us.
