About The Position

Language Trainers is an international language training company working with freelance teachers of 99+ languages in hundreds of cities worldwide. Founded in 2004, our motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere (and Online). We provide customized language training to professionals and private students for work, family, and travel purposes. We are currently looking for a freelance Punjabi Teacher for one of our clients in Washington, United States. The course type is General, format is one-to-one, with a total of 40 hours. Each session is two-hours long. The student is at an intermediate level, aged between 18-24, and wants to expand their vocabulary. The student's schedule is twice per week, on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday evenings (after 5:30 PM) and Saturday mornings (before noon). The preferred start date is ASAP.

Requirements

Be a native Punjabi speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
Have a valid work permit/visa
Live within 20 miles of Washington DC
Be available to start ASAP
Be able to commit to 40 hours of teaching, with sessions twice per week.
Be available for evening sessions on M/T/TR after 5:30 PM and Saturday mornings before noon.

Responsibilities

Provide customized language training to professionals and private students.
Teach Punjabi language to an intermediate level student.
Conduct one-to-one sessions.
Deliver a total of 40 hours of training, with sessions lasting two hours each.
Adapt to the student's schedule of twice per week, on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday evenings (after 5:30 PM) and Saturday mornings (before noon).
