About The Position

Language Trainers is seeking a freelance Marathi teacher for a beginner-level, two-to-one general Marathi class in Chicago, 60647. The course will consist of 24 hours, with classes held once every other week for two hours. The students are a father and son, with the father motivated to learn Marathi due to his grandmother's heritage and his desire to learn a language similar to Gujarati with his son. The classes are to be held at the client's home, and the schedule is flexible based on mutual availability. This is a freelance, part-time position.

Requirements

• Native Marathi speaker OR hold a teaching degree.
• Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Possess a valid working visa.
• Live within 20 miles of the client's location (Chicago, 60647).
• Ability to submit a CV with references.
• Ability to state availability to start.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching Marathi to beginners.
• Familiarity with Gujarati language to draw parallels for the student.
