About The Position
Language Trainers is an international language training company seeking a freelance Norwegian Teacher for a client in Chicago, United States. This is a one-to-one general Norwegian course with a total of 20 hours, with each session lasting two hours. The student is an elementary-level learner, aged 56-64, and prefers to meet once per week with flexible morning availability. The lessons will take place at the student's home in 60614, or potentially a local library or similar public space. The student's motivation for learning Norwegian is personal enrichment, having recently moved to Chicago and already fluent in German, French, and English.
Requirements
- Native Norwegian speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of 60614.
- Ability to submit a CV with references.
- Provide availability.
- Provide earliest possible start date.
