About The Position

Language Trainers is an international language training company seeking a freelance Thai Teacher for a client in Austin, United States. This is a one-to-one general course with a total of 20 hours, with each session lasting two hours. The student is a beginner, aged 25-34, and prefers to have classes twice per week, ideally on Monday and Thursday mornings from 9-11 a.m. The student's motivation for learning Thai is to communicate better with their Thai wife's family and to teach their infant son the language. The preferred start date is ASAP.

Requirements

• Native Thai speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Valid work permit/visa.
• Live within 20 miles of Austin, 78753.
• Ability to provide CV with references.
• Provide availability.
• Provide earliest possible start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide customized Thai language training to a beginner student.
• Conduct one-to-one sessions.
• Adapt to the student's preferred schedule and location, if necessary.
