About The Position
Language Trainers is an international language training company seeking a freelance Thai Teacher for a client in Calgary, Canada. This is a one-to-one general course with a total of 30 hours, with sessions lasting two hours each. The lessons should take place at the teacher's location in Calgary. The student is a beginner, aged 18-24, and is motivated by family heritage. Lessons are to be held twice per week on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays at any time. The preferred start date is ASAP.
Requirements
- Native Thai speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 30 km of the specified location.
- Submit CV with references (if available).
- Provide availability.
- Provide earliest possible start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one Thai language training to a beginner student.
- Conduct lessons at the teacher's place in Calgary.
- Schedule lessons twice per week on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays at any time.
- Adapt schedule and location based on availability and client needs.
