About The Position
The Public Safety Officer plays a crucial role in creating a safe, secure, and caring atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff. The primary focus is ensuring individuals’ physical safety while upholding compassionate patient care and proactive de-escalation. The officer works closely with healthcare professionals and Public Safety partners to support a healing environment, responding to security situations with empathy and sensitivity.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of experience in security, a related public safety area, or customer service, including responding to emergent situations and identifying and resolving issues that pose potential risks to patients, visitors, teammates, or property.
- Valid driver's license and ability to be MVR-cleared to drive company vehicles.
