About The Position

The Temporary Public Area Attendant is an integral member of the Housekeeping Team, responsible for maintaining public guest and employee areas at the Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills, A Four Seasons Hotel. The role requires attention to detail, a high sense of quality and integrity, and a passion for excellent service. The attendant helps shape the guest experience by providing genuine hospitality, welcoming guests, and handling interactions and special requests with care. Work authorization for the job location is required.

Responsibilities

Deep clean the lobby, elevators, public area restrooms, employee locker rooms, guest corridors, and other service areas.
Perform floor care, including sweeping and mopping floors and stairwells; sealing, waxing, and polishing tile, marble, and brass; cleaning and shampooing carpet; and vacuuming hallways and offices.
Remove trash from designated areas and dispose of it in a central area.
Assist with Lobby Attendant and Housekeeper responsibilities and duties during absences or periods of heavy volume.
Assist Guest Room Attendants as required and keep guest corridors, elevator landings, stairwells, and linen storage rooms clean.
Interact with guests in a welcoming and hospitable manner, accommodate special requests, and promote hotel services and products.
Provide genuine hospitality and recognition in the work area.
Safely handle relevant equipment and machinery, and immediately report defects and accidents to management.
Report damages, repairs, and maintenance needs.
Report suspicious activity or people and health and safety hazards to managers.
Carry out other cleaning duties as specified by the manager.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and hotel employees.
