About The Position

The Temporary Public Area Attendant is part of the Housekeeping Team at the Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills, A Four Seasons Hotel. The role maintains public guest and employee areas and supports an exceptional guest experience through careful cleaning, quality-focused work, and genuine hospitality. The successful candidate has a strong eye for detail, a high sense of quality and integrity, and a passion for service. Work authorization for the job location is required.

Responsibilities

Deep clean the lobby, elevators, public-area restrooms, employee locker rooms, guest corridors, and other service areas.
Perform floor care, including sweeping and mopping floors and stairwells; sealing, waxing, and polishing tile, marble, and brass; and cleaning and shampooing carpets.
Vacuum hallways and offices.
Remove trash from designated areas and dispose of it in a central area.
Assist with Lobby Attendant and Housekeeper responsibilities when those employees are absent or workloads are heavy.
Assist Guest Room Attendants as needed and keep guest corridors, elevator landings, stairwells, and linen storage rooms clean.
Interact with guests with hospitality, accommodate special requests, and help guests feel welcomed and well cared for.
Provide genuine hospitality and recognition in the work area, and promote hotel services and products.
Handle relevant equipment and machinery safely and report defects and accidents to management immediately.
Report damages, repairs, and maintenance needs.
Report suspicious activity or people and health and safety hazards to managers.
Carry out other cleaning duties specified by the manager.
Work harmoniously and professionally with coworkers and hotel employees.
