About The Position

Children’s Minnesota is recruiting for its 2027–2028 Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship Program in Pediatric and Outpatient Psychology. Fellows provide clinical services across the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses, including outpatient therapy and assessment, specialty-area services, and inpatient consultation and liaison. The program has three openings: one focused on outpatient therapy and assessment with additional training in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and two pediatric psychology placements in one or two specialties, with outpatient therapy caseloads derived from specialty and consultation referrals. Available specialty areas include Diabetes, Feeding Disorders, Eating Disorders, Behavioral Sleep Medicine, Cancer and Blood Disorders, and Integrated Behavioral Health. All fellows participate in inpatient consultation and liaison, monthly didactics, and case presentations throughout the year. The fellowship is primarily clinical, with time devoted to direct clinical care, documentation, case management, care coordination, and observing clinical work. Remaining time is spent on supervision, didactics, professional development, and related learning activities. Fellows work with medical providers, multidisciplinary teams, and families to advance skills in training, policy, and practice related to child and adolescent mental health services. Opportunities to supervise or mentor practicum students are available.
