About The Position

Sanofi is offering a two-year post-doctoral fellowship beginning in January 2027 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, focused on Impurity Identification & AI-Enabled Analytics. The fellow will help pioneer AI-enabled approaches to accelerate the identification, structural elucidation, and mechanistic understanding of process- and degradation-related impurities. They will also help develop high-quality experimental datasets to train, validate, and improve next-generation AI models for analytical sciences. The fellow will collaborate with analytical scientists, synthetic chemists, and data scientists to develop innovative solutions.

The role requires relocation to the office location and a 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, for the full program duration. Applicants must be permanently authorized to work in the United States without requiring employment visa sponsorship at the time of application or in the future.

Requirements

• Hold a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Computational Chemistry, Data Science applied to Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Have expertise in mass spectrometry, including LC-MS/MS and high-resolution mass spectrometry.
• Demonstrate experience in structural elucidation and interpretation of complex analytical datasets.
• Have strong programming and data analysis skills using Python, R, or comparable computational platforms.
• Be permanently authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment visa sponsorship.
• Be able to relocate to the office location and work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, for the full program duration.
