Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Clinical Psychology

LifeStance Health•Boston, MA

About The Position

LifeStance Health is hiring postdoctoral fellows for its 2026–2027 training year. The fellowship trains competent clinical psychologists to provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions in an outpatient setting and serves a diverse patient population. Fellows participate in didactics, individual and group supervision, weekly case consultation, and specialty consultation groups. They may specialize in one of four tracks: Child, Adolescent, and Family Therapy; Adult Therapy; Generalist Therapy; or Integrated Care. Training includes evidence-based treatment approaches such as CBT, health psychology and behavioral medicine, biofeedback and stress management, psychodynamic models, and telepsychology. Fellows work with a variety of disorders and treatment formats, including brief treatment, individual and family therapy, and group interventions. Integrated Care fellows provide provider consultation, brief assessment, evidence-based intervention, and triage, while learning to work within multidisciplinary integrated primary care teams. Fellows typically work Monday through Friday, averaging 40 hours per week depending on clinical and paperwork demands, with up to two evenings a week. They are expected to average 25 patient-contact hours weekly. There are no on-call or overnight duties, other than emergency coverage for patients receiving ongoing treatment from the fellow. Fellows are expected to apply for licensure and take the EPPP and Massachusetts state exam as soon as eligible. The fellowship year provides a $58,000 stipend.
