About The Position
Gould Medical Group is seeking a per diem Psychologist to join our Behavioral Health Department with a primary focus on psychological assessment and testing. This position is ideal for a psychologist who enjoys assessment work and is looking for a part-time opportunity within an integrated healthcare setting. The Behavioral Health Department consists of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, LMFTs, LCSWs, NPs and PAs. The practice location is Modesto, CA. Schedule and hours are negotiable based on department needs and candidate availability. This is an integrated medical setting with opportunities for collaboration across specialties. All age ranges can be seen, but specialization in adults or children is possible. There are low paperwork demands and no inpatient work. It is a stable and growing group.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a closely related field from an APA-accredited program.
- Current California license as a Psychologist.
- Training and experience in psychological assessment and testing.
- Strong knowledge of standardized psychological assessment instruments, test interpretation, and report writing.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and testing based on clinical referral questions.
- Select, administer, score, and interpret appropriate standardized psychological tests.
- Integrate test results with clinical history, behavioral observations, and other available information.
- Prepare clear, comprehensive, and clinically useful psychological evaluation reports.
- Provide feedback regarding assessment results and recommendations to patients, families, and referring providers as appropriate.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, primary care providers, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Practice within applicable professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
