About The Position

Gould Medical Group is seeking a per diem Psychologist to join their Behavioral Health Department. This role primarily focuses on psychological assessment and testing, making it ideal for a psychologist who enjoys this type of work and is looking for a part-time opportunity within an integrated healthcare setting. The department includes psychiatrists, psychologists, LMFTs, LCSWs, NPs, and PAs. The practice is located in Modesto, CA. Schedule and hours are negotiable. This is an integrated medical setting with opportunities for collaboration across specialties, serving all age ranges (with the possibility of specializing in adults or children). The role involves low paperwork demands and no inpatient work. Gould Medical Group is a stable and growing group.

Requirements

Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a closely related field from an APA-accredited program.
Current California license as a Psychologist.
Training and experience in psychological assessment and testing.
Strong knowledge of standardized psychological assessment instruments, test interpretation, and report writing.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct psychological assessments and testing based on clinical referral questions.
Select, administer, score, and interpret appropriate standardized psychological tests.
Integrate test results with clinical history, behavioral observations, and other available information.
Prepare clear, comprehensive, and clinically useful psychological evaluation reports.
Provide feedback regarding assessment results and recommendations to patients, families, and referring providers as appropriate.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, primary care providers, and other members of the healthcare team.
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record.
Practice within applicable professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
