Thriveworks is seeking a part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide ongoing telemedicine care to clients in Maryland. Clinicians must be licensed and reside in the state where they practice. The role serves a diverse population with mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more, primarily adults and adolescents, with plans to expand care across the lifespan. Clinicians must be willing to treat clients age 14 and older. This is a W-2 fee-for-service position with 15–20 clinical hours of availability per week and a stated annual compensation range of $70,000–$100,000. Clinicians make prescribing decisions at their discretion based on client symptoms and diagnoses. Thriveworks does not push or incentivize stimulant use, does not currently treat substance use disorders, and seeks to refer clients to in-person providers when symptoms are too severe for telemedicine alone. New hires participate in in-house training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approach, followed by a brief exam. New hires are enrolled in the ADHD Clinic and expected to accept and treat ADHD clients, with no quotas for clients or prescriptions. The position includes clinical support, paid orientation and credentialing, malpractice coverage, and professional development opportunities.
