About The Position

Ally Psychiatry is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - PMHNP or Psychiatric Physician Assistant - PA) to provide occasional weekend inpatient psychiatric coverage at Pinewood Springs, a behavioral health hospital serving the Columbia and Middle Tennessee communities. This PRN opportunity is ideal for providers who enjoy inpatient psychiatry and want the flexibility to pick up weekend shifts as needed without a long-term schedule commitment. The role involves conducting psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing and managing acute psychiatric conditions, developing and adjusting treatment plans, prescribing and managing psychiatric medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team. The provider will also be responsible for timely and accurate documentation within the EMR and providing compassionate, patient-centered care in an inpatient behavioral health setting.

Requirements

Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Certified Psychiatric Physician Assistant
Active Tennessee license
DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
Previous inpatient psychiatric experience strongly preferred
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
